Two Indonesian youth, Oscar Lawalata and Mahrizal Paru got an appreciation and won the International Young Creative Entrepreneur Award (IYCE) 2009 in Britain. The British Council presented this IYCE Appreciation in the framework of having a network of talented young entrepreneurs in the field of social, environment, and creative industry. That was proposed by the head of the team of "Learning and Creativity British Council", Yudhi Surjoatmojo in Jakarta recently. Since 2006, British Council has identified, facilitated and developing the networking for the entrepreneurs. Oscar Lawalata who got the award can attract the attention of the Britain juries for his cooperation with around 100 art workers of batik, weaving, and traditional jewels in South Sulawesi, Bali, East Nusa Tenggara, and also Java for around 10 years.
